This fur coat is made from sheared mink and chinchilla. The mink is sheared to take away the shiny mink guard hairs, giving the coat a soft matte look. It also reduces the weight. We don't normally like a coat made entirely from chinchilla, because it is very delicate. However, it works well as a trim.
